I really started to feel the effects of our programme. Especially from a tendon stiffness point of view, I get a great snap off the ground. Your teachings around prep have been revolutionary. Firmly believe in doing a prep style session the evening before a key workout. It makes a huge different physically and psychologically.

I have been working with Paul for 6 months now and in that time I have lost 25lb while increasing muscle mass. Since starting to measure body composition a few months ago, my body fat has reduced by 19lb plus I’ve also gained muscle! Working with Paul has been a team effort. He provides continually updated strength training programs and fitness guidance based on achieving the goals and objectives I have. My body shape and fitness has improved significantly.I feel better physically and mentally, and have a more positive outlook on life.

I started working with Paul as at 44 yrs and a mother of 3, I had recently gone through early menopause, I had a sore lower back and shoulder and I was finding I was not strong enough to get the most out of my horse riding lessons. His sessions are structured with a steady progression, and due to his expertise he will adapt them if I needed. The variety and the clear improvements I am making keep me really motivated - when I started I could do one full press-up but can now do 10 or more. I started by deadlifting 40kg but can now lift 110kg, which I never thought was possible. I no longer have a sore back or shoulder, I feel stronger, I sleep better, my mood has improved and as an added benefit have lost weight and am more toned. I would highly recommend working with Paul if you can!

Paul’s programme gave me the confidence I needed to head into an international tournament with confidence, particularly as the timeframe following injury was shorter than might be deemed ideal. And the results speak for themselves; I played without any issues during a 4-day tournament and always felt at my best. The programme was both specifically focused, and yet creative in terms of movements to ensure I remained engaged and committed. The movements and loads were also very sport specific which is exactly what I needed. Paul was great to work with as a coach; knowledgeable yet humble, enthusiastic but calm in nature. He helped me remain accountable and I would recommend him to anyone in need of sport specific training.
